Benard Paul Mnyang'anga, better known as Ben Pol, is a leading East African artist and environmental activist. Justdiggit and Ben are pursuing the same mission and are therefore a perfect fit! Justdiggit together with LEAD Foundation and Ben Pol will help increase and speed up the positive impact of nature-based solutions on the degradation of land in sub-Saharan Africa and global climate change. With his music, he will inspire, mobilize, and activate his audience to join the regreening movement.

As a Dutch writer, producer and tv presenter, Floortje Dessing has seen the beauty of our planet like no other. With her television shows she travels far and wide to document our precious planet. It is during these travels that she noticed the rapid landscape degradation and their consequences in parts of the world. Floortje joined Justdiggit’s movement to stop the decay of our ecosystems and instead make them blossom for future generations. You can see her in our campaign which inspires the world to join and dig in on climate action!

Christina Shusho

Christina Shusho is an award-winning gospel artist, songwriter and entrepreneur. As an outspoken environmentalist, she uses her divine voice for the good. As an ambassador for Justdiggit, Shusho encourages and activates her audience in East Africa to join the regreen movement. Together with Lead Foundation, Justdiggit and Tanzanian artists Joh Makini, Frida Amani and Ben Pol she released ‘Kijanisha’, a regreen hit that went viral on YouTube!

With over 3 million followers on Instagram, Makini’s voice is one to reckon with. Seeing first-hand the effects of climate change and land degradation in his native Tanzania, Makini inspires his fans to dig in!

Jonathan Karpathios is one of the best chefs of The Netherlands and he is an ambassador of Justdiggit! Jonathan is very engaged in nature and healthy soils. As a food director, he cooks delicious meals with whole foods, found at local farms and his own four hectare garden, all natural and without pesticides. He won the prestigious prize “Gouden Garde” (Golden Whisk) for his beautiful cookbook in 2013. Why he supports Justdiggit? Watch his video!

In addition to the social rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner he was, the late Archbishop Desmond Tutu has devoted a great amount of his time to a greener and cooler planet. As patron of Justdiggit, he was of great value for our regreening mission. We are grateful for his invaluable support. We would simply not be where we are today without his wisdom and help. His warm words and optimism will always remain visible within Justdiggit.
