The Justdiggit team consists of determined people and has its office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. All team members have a private sector background, which is reflected in our startup culture.

How it all started!

“Since ‘2000 I decided to become a change maker for many reasons. I really had the feeling something needed to change for creating a better world and I also had the feeling that I could be the one creating this change. One of the better decisions in my life! After the successes of Kuyichi and Dance4life I was ready for a new social venture. In 2009 I met the unique Peter Westerveld and he showed me positive results of his own landscape restoration projects in various African countries. I was sold from the first minute, because I saw that these restoration projects had multiple benefits on big issues like water, food, biodiversity, migration and of course our suffering climate. Together with Peter I founded Justdiggit to show the world solutions, hope and positivism. Unfortunately Peter passed away in 2014, but Justdiggit is more alive than ever and a green revolution is in the making!”
