Justdiggit welcomes “Bomen Bram” as new ambassador

With great enthusiasm, Justdiggit announces that nature expert Bram Engberts, better known as “Bomen Bram”, has joined the Justdiggit family as an official ambassador and ‘Friend of Justdiggit’. With his extensive knowledge of trees and nature and his infectious passion for greening, Bram is the ideal partner to promote our mission for a greener and cooler climate.

A natural match

As a certified dendrologist and passionate gardener, Bram Engberts has over 20 years of experience in the green sector. His love for nature was nurtured early on as he grew up on a children’s farm. Since then, he has transformed his passion into various successful initiatives. Since 2015, he manages De Biotheek, a green inspiration centre in the heart of the Beemster World Heritage site, where he gives presentations and tours about the importance of a green living environment.

Through his platform “Brams Natuur” (Bram’s Nature), he regularly shares enthusiastic videos with practical gardening tips and fascinating nature facts. Additionally, he has developed educational programmes such as “Brams Klastuintjes” (Bram’s Classroom Gardens) for primary schools and organises greening actions with municipalities.

We are extremely pleased that Bram is joining Justdiggit,” says Elseline Wijffelaars, Communications Manager Netherlands at Justdiggit. “His expertise in trees and plants, combined with his talent for making complex information accessible to a wide audience, makes him a valuable ambassador for our mission to green and cool the planet.

Media personality with green fingers

Bram is well-known in Dutch media. He presented three series of the SBS6 programme “The Green Make-over” alongside Dennis Wilt and Gwen Jansen. He also regularly appears as a nature expert on the RTL4 programme “Eigen Huis en Tuin, Lekker Leven” (Own House and Garden, Good Living). Since 2024, he has been a regular columnist for Seasons magazine, a collaboration that was recently extended through 2026.

In 2023, Bram’s entrepreneurship was recognised with the PRO Award (Purmerend Region Entrepreneurs), acknowledging his contribution to the green sector. His landscaping company now employs 20 people.

Together for a greener climate

Bram’s role as a Justdiggit ambassador fits seamlessly with his other activities, including his recent collaboration with Beemsterkaas (Beemster Cheese) and his nature experience days under the name “Naar Buiten Met” (Going Outside With), which he organises with friends Dennis Wilt and Tjitze van der Dam.

For me, greening is not a trend, but a necessity,” says Bram Engberts. “Justdiggit’s mission to achieve large-scale reforestation and landscape restoration perfectly aligns with my belief that we must cherish and restore nature. I look forward to using my knowledge and network to inspire even more people to contribute to a greener and cooler climate.

As an ambassador, Bram will be involved in activations and events, where he will share his expertise and emphasise the importance of reforestation and landscape restoration.
