Iramba (Cluster E) – Treecovery Progress Update – October 2026

The second round of movie roadshows is now underway across the cluster, building on the awareness created during the first round. The new movie takes communities deeper into different regreening techniques, using practical demonstrations, relatable stories, and visible results to encourage more farmers to adopt restoration practices on their own land.

Community turnout has remained high, reflecting strong and continued interest in landscape restoration. The roadshows are also creating space to reinforce key messages, answer questions, and encourage wider participation.

Alongside the roadshows, an intermediate Training of Trainers (ToT) was conducted for 102 champion farmers from this cluster. The training also provided an opportunity to pilot the Kijani App training modules, with champion farmers learning how to create accounts, download and navigate the app, and select the courses that best match their learning needs. This is an important step toward strengthening continuous, farmer-led learning and access to restoration knowledge.
