The second Treecovery phase of 2025 kicked off

Our Treecovery projects kick off with community engagement activities and organising trainings for the champion farmers. Below, you can see a photo of such an activity: a movie roadshow event in Mukulu.  Movie roadshows are a powerful way to inspire communities to adopt regreening techniques and join the local regreening movement. In these roadshows, we combine education with entertainment through practical demonstrations, traditional dances, and drama. In the evening, a film is screened which shows examples of regreening practices, farmer testimonies, and compelling before-and-after visuals to show the effects of farmland restoration.
