Tired of seeing the bad news? Here’s news that will make you smile
We’re surrounded by headlines about climate change, drought and erosion. That’s why we are launching our newest out-of-home campaign with one simple message: “Tired of seeing the bad news? Here’s news that will make you smile.”
Across cities in Europe, people can spot the campaign on streets, stations and digital screens, sharing a hopeful message about regreening degraded landscapes and cooling down the planet together. With this campaign, we want to show that positive climate action is already happening – and that everyone can be part of it.
Climate news that makes people smile
At Justdiggit, we focus on practical, nature-based solutions that restore degraded landscapes in Sub-Saharan Africa. Together with local farmers and partners, we regreen dry land, improve biodiversity and help cool down the planet from the ground up.
One of these solutions is digging “Earth Smiles”: half-moon-shaped pits that capture rainwater and help vegetation grow back naturally. Every Earth Smile contributes to greener, healthier landscapes and a more resilient future.

This campaign builds on earlier Justdiggit campaigns like Make Earth Smile Again and While They’re Talking, We’re Digging, continuing the message that action matters. Every donation, shared message and regreening project helps create lasting climate impact.
Spreading hopeful climate action
The campaign is made possible thanks to the support of our amazing out-of-home media partners across Europe, who help us spread this hopeful message far and wide. Their continued pro bono support allows us to reach millions of people with positive climate news that inspires.
