The Raindance Project
A global event to restore Mother Earth
From 2020 onwards we will introduce the biennial event: The Raindance Project. The Raindance Project utilises the power of music and dance to unite, inform and activate people globally.
The Raindance Project aims to create awareness for the key role nature plays in mitigating global warming, celebrate the regreening successes so far, but most of all demonstrate the urgency of climate change and promote one of the major solutions, nature.
The kick-off starts at September 14th in three countries simultaneously: Kenya, Tanzania and The Netherlands. Read more.

Premiere documentary Seeds Of Change
Event
Our documentary Seeds Of Change was premiered on 11 December 2017 in Pathé Tuschinski.
This is the sequel to Rainmakers, the film that received several nominations and even won the Best Documentary Award at the My Hero International Film Festival in Los Angeles. With Seeds Of Change we show the progress we have made in Kenya.
The same evening we also showed the documentary Follow The Wind, in which kiteboarder Jerrie van de Kop traveled from the tropical island of Zanzibar to the snowy peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro. During his trip, Jerrie also visits Justdiggit’s projects to create awareness and to show the impact of our projects.

E-rally
Event
A 200 km tour for full electric vehicles! This event, organized by Foundation E-rally, promotes electric transport and supports us in our mission to combat climate change.
Every year some of our ambassadors, like Amara Onwuka and Reinier van den Berg, participate in the rally. Since 2014 a total of €160,000 has been raised(!) which all goes to Justdiggit’s projects in Africa!

Squash competition
Event
Supporting Justdiggit can be done in many ways! Team Power organized a squash event on the 21st of January 2017 with Dutch squash champion Robert Jan Anjema and Former European Championship soccer player Marco van Basten.
Participants competed against current champions and legends by donating € 1 per minute. This fun initiative raised almost €2,000,-!

Tour of Nijmegen
Event
Our Justdiggit team cycled the 75 km of the Ronde van Nijmegen (Tour of Nijmegen) at the end of 2014, a beautiful tour for recreational cyclists.
Justdiggit did this together with ambassador Floortje Dessing, cyclist Theo de Rooij and other Justdiggit supporters. From each enrollment, the Tour donated 2 euros to Justdiggit and thereby we raised nearly €10,000 during this tour!
