How it works
Would you like to contribute to our projects and the regreening of our planet? Donate a bund for yourself or someone else is one of the best ways to do it. Here’s how it works:
-
- Use our bund tool and choose the amount of bunds you would like to donate (up to a maximum of 200)
- After donating bunds, you will receive a personalised bund certificate. It’s either with your name on it, or with the name of the person you have gifted bunds to. Be aware! You will receive an email per bund certificate.
- After donating your bunds you will receive bund updates via your email address to stay up to date with the latest regreening news about the project area of your bund(s)!
What are
water bunds?
Water bunds are semi-circular shaped pits that capture rainwater, we also like to call them “earth smiles”.
They are dug in our project areas in Africa in order to capture rainwater that will otherwise get washed away over the dry, barren soil. By digging water bunds, we can regreen large areas in a very short amount of time, benefiting biodiversity, nature, people and – eventually our climate.
