The Green Future Farming program – an initiative by RAIN, Meta Meta & Justdiggit, is the proud recipient of a grant from the IKEA Foundation. Thanks to our partnership with the IKEA Foundation, we are able to join forces and offer perspective to young farmers in East Africa.
The IKEA Foundation sees the potential in the collaboration between these three parties and how they strengthen each other. Thanks to the IKEA Foundation, GFF is able to ensure water and food security, improve livelihoods, benefiting local economies and positively impacting the regional climate.
World’s largest NGOs unite to reverse climate change.
NYC September 24th – Today the world’s most leading NGOs publicly shared their collaborative ambition to reverse climate change. The NGOs joined forces in the so-called Global EverGreening Alliance. Their goal is to capture 20 billion tons of CO2 annually by 2050 which drives an eventual cooling of global temperatures.
Regreening with Greenchoice
We are also excited to announce our 5 year partnership with Greenchoice! Together with the Dutch sustainable green energy provider we will start to regreen an area the size of Rotterdam center in Kenya this year with impact on climate, nature and people!
That’s not all, in 2020 we will bring back at least 100,000 trees in Tanzania(!) and Greenchoice is also proud sponsor of our international climate event, the Raindance Project, that kicks off this Saturday. The purpose revolution in business has started… join us, together we can bring back nature!
